PLEASE READ THE BELOW CAREFULLY AND LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

 

Payment / Cancellation

 Deposit payment (equivalent to 25% of cost of total stay) is due within 24 hours of receipt of invoice.

 Deposit is non refundable as it covers all incurred administrative costs.  Balance/final payment is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

 Full payment is due at time of booking if booking within 6 weeks.  Balance/final payment is due by 6 weeks prior to arrival.

 In the event of cancellation within 6 weeks of arrival, 25% of the cost of stay will be non refundable.

 

Non-Arrival

We do not not accept any responsibility for weather or accidents making accessibility restricted or impossible.

 

Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to abide by the house rules, including but not limited to:

  • Completing all tasks on the check out checklist before you depart - cleaning the house, washing the dishes, stripping the beds and emptying the rubbish is your responsibility at the end of your stay.

  • Please bring your own bedding and towels.

  • Please only use completely dry wood in the woodburner. The stove is only designed for wood and anything not dry causes sap to rise into the chimney - fixing this in such a rural location is a real problem.

  • Guests agree to notify us of any breakages.

  • The Highlands and Islands Council operate strict waste recycling methods. It is imperative to ensure correct disposal of all your rubbish/waste. Instructions are available in the property.

 

WIFI

Wi-Fi Disclaimer: Guests are welcome to use the Wi-Fi provided, however the owners will not accept any responsibility for inappropriate content downloaded during their stay. If such actions result in the attention of an investigating authority, contact details of the guests and the dates of their stay will be disclosed to the authority concerned without further recourse.

Please note that the property owner cannot be held responsible for disruption to the internet and/or telephone service brought about for reasons beyond their control.

 

Pets

Under no circumstances must and pets be brought to the property.  There will be a cleaning charge of £200 invoked if it is discovered that pets have been brought.

 

Babies and Toddlers

Due to the burn in the garden we do not suggest that this is a property suitable for babies and toddlers and as such, we do not provide cots or highchairs.  If you do bring babies and toddlers, the responsibility for ensuring their safety in the garden in solely yours, we accept no responsibility for any accidents.

EV Charging

The property does not offer EV charging facilities. The nearest points for charging are in Lochcarron at the fuel station and in Torridon.

 

Smoking

This is a non-smoking property.  If you wish to smoke outside please remove all trace and be aware of the fire hazard posed in the dry months.
